Office Pest Control Services in London

Office pest control refers to professional services that detect, manage, and prevent infestations of pests in commercial office spaces. It includes the control of mice, rats, cockroaches, flies, ants, and other intruders that may pose health risks or disrupt daily business operations. BioWise provides tailored pest control plans specifically for office environments, including discreet visits, digital reporting, and preventative proofing.

While there is no single law that mandates routine pest control, UK regulations such as the Health and Safety at Work Act 1974 and The Workplace (Health, Safety and Welfare) Regulations 1992 require employers to maintain a clean, safe, and hygienic working environment. Pest infestations can lead to legal issues and health violations if not managed properly. BioWise helps ensure offices meet these standards with scheduled inspections and compliance reports.

The most common office pests in London include:

• Mice and rats (in wall cavities, service risers, and basements)

• Fruit flies (in kitchen bins and drains)

• Cockroaches (in warm, hidden spaces like behind appliances)

• Ants (near electrical sockets and food areas)

These pests often enter through gaps, vents, or poorly sealed doors — and thrive in shared office kitchens, storage rooms, or underfloor spaces.

Cockroaches are often the hardest to eliminate in office environments. They hide in small crevices, reproduce quickly, and are resistant to many DIY treatments. Offices with shared kitchens or warm utility spaces are particularly vulnerable. BioWise uses professional-grade treatments and follow-up inspections to fully eradicate infestations.

Prices vary depending on the size of the office, the type of pests, and the frequency of visits. At BioWise, typical plans start from £60 + VAT per visit under a quarterly contract. A standard package includes:

• 12 inspections per year

• Free callouts

• Reporting and minor proofing

• Coverage for mice, rats, cockroaches, ants, and flies

Custom quotes are available after a free site survey.

Most London offices benefit from monthly or quarterly visits depending on the risk level, building condition, and pest history. High-risk buildings (older properties, shared kitchens, basements) may require more frequent inspections. BioWise offers flexible contracts tailored to your office’s needs to ensure ongoing prevention and fast response to any pest activity.
